Adult Christian Education Christ Church offers many opportunities for Adult Christian Education. Listed below are the regularly scheduled programs for adults. Additional programs are regularly offered, and will be posted as they occur.
Wednesday "Jesus Way" Bible Study Let's listen to the Gospel, Holy Spirit, and each other as we seek the Jesus Way. Bring a Bible or use one of ours, but do join us and learn the way we do God's mission and live. 7 p.m. in the Library.
Saturday Morning Men's Group The Christ Church Men's Group meets in the Library every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. for continental breakfast and discussion subjects in the area of what it means to be a Christian at home, in the workplace and in the world. All men of the parish are always welcome to join any Saturday.
Tuesday Centering Prayer Centering Prayer Group participates in a regular discipline of contemplative prayer. The group meets weekly in the Christ Church Library on Tuesdays from 9 to 10 a.m. to discuss the purposes and procedures of centering prayer, to pray, and to support each other. Pastor Dean Henry is the leader. No experience is necessary!
Tuesday Morning Bible Study "Talk, Laugh, Cry, Go-out-to-lunch Study Group" meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Christ Church Library. Currently we are reading and discussing Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori's book, A Wing and A Prayer. Talk to Judy Forys or Erna Sottile for what you're missing. Join us for lunch if you please. Come any Tuesday to this friendly group.
