Sampling EfM Continues Jan 11
The Sampling EFM” group held in the fall studied the Nicene Creed. We have elected to continue in the new year with a study of some of the books of the Apocrypha. New members are welcome to join us beginning on January 11th from 6:00-8:30 pm in the church library.
Education for Ministry uses a specific format to its process, one which we will follow as an introduction to what a traditional EFM group entails. Half of the meeting is in discussion of the study materials and half will be an introduction to the practice of theological reflection. Edna Marie Thomas has been an EFM mentor for over 8 years and is well versed, and up to date in her training, of the EFM process.
Please consider joining six of your fellow parishioners as we begin a new year of study, community building and deepening in our faith. Please call Edna Marie at 252-876-6843, email her at firstname.lastname@example.org, or catch her at coffee hour if you are interested in this upcoming study.
